Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof. Our software doesn't just run in the cloud — it has to deploy reliably across real robots, Jetsons, and internal systems used for testing and demos. Our engineering team works across robotics, embedded systems, and edge infrastructure, and we need strong operational foundations to support fast iteration and reliable releases. As a DevOps Engineer at Droyd, you will own the systems that make software deployment reliable across our robots and edge infrastructure. You will build release processes, improve deployment confidence, and create operational tooling that supports both engineering velocity and fleet reliability. A central part of this role is dealing with the realities of Jetson-based systems: cross-compilation from x86_64 to aarch64, JetPack quirks, OTA workflows, and the infrastructure needed to keep a distributed hardware fleet working. This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
