About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Dearborn, MI. This role is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools for software/code development, deployment, and release. The engineer will also help the organization accelerate and automate aspects of the software lifecycle through a series of DevOps practices and processes. The Stefanini Group is a global provider of outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application, and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises worldwide, with a presence in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia, serving over four hundred clients across various markets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting and managing the GitHub.com EMU platform.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Java/Spring Boot, or Python for process automation.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI/ML bots, security, and MCP servers.
  • Demonstrate flexibility when collaborating with global teams outside standard business hours, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Apply DevOps methodologies and practices across the product lifecycle for various software components.
  • Accelerate software releases while ensuring security and mitigating the risk of failed or recalled software releases.
  • Increase cycle speed between end-user feedback and updated software by leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous feedback.
  • Assess current systems and processes and identify and implement ways to improve them.
  • Utilize platform and enterprise tools and infrastructure to facilitate the DevOps methodology and approach.
  • Assist with code/software releases and deployments across production, testing, sandbox, and other environments.
  • Identify and spearhead automation and innovation opportunities throughout the software product lifecycle.
  • Proactively monitor support tickets and collaborate with customers to efficiently resolve GitHub platform and integration-related issues.
  • Write scripts to automate common tasks.
  • Simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Gather requirements from Ford customers and design and develop tools to meet their needs.
  • Multitask and work across multiple systems to meet tight deadlines.
  • Analyze and identify areas of concern or opportunity and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams to troubleshoot and recommend tuning for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bring an agile, systems administration, and automation mindset to contribute to and lead the agile team in delivering quality work.
  • Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies, including: Backlog refinement and planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives.
