About The Position

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 7-12 years of experience to join our team in Phoenix, AZ for a long-term engagement. The role involves working with builds and deployments for various programming languages, managing GitHub Enterprise, and administering Kubernetes clusters. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of experience in builds and deployments of various programming languages like Java, NodeJS, Python.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise Administration.
  • Experience working with Self-hosted runners on GitHub Enterprise.
  • Experience with creation of GitHub Apps at the enterprise.
  • Experience working with enterprise standard GitHub workflows & Re-usable workflows.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation tasks.
  • Experience working with GitHub Advance Security Tooling (GHAS).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Domain knowledge in Source Control Management (SCM) including Git & GitHub workflows.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher & Helm.
  • Overall 7+ years of experience in GHES administration.
  • Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills (GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
  • Cloud expertise (GH Cloud, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps security best practices.

  • Experience with dot Net & Go source code.

Responsibilities

  • Work with builds and deployments of various programming languages like Java, NodeJS, Python.
  • Administer GitHub Enterprise, including GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and GitHub Apps.
  • Create enterprise standard GitHub workflows and reusable workflows.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python or Java.
  • Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, secure execution environments, and workflow orchestration.
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher & Helm.
  • Administer, maintain, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructure.
  • Design and manage the Kubernetes cluster layout, resources, and storage.
  • Monitor and optimize Kubernetes resources, such as pods, nodes, and namespaces.
  • Plan and execute GHES upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimizations.
