About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an onsite, 6+ month contract opportunity with a Major Financial Institution in Plano, TX or Richmond, VA. This role is crucial for ongoing support of a long-term integration and decommissioning project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and incident management.

Requirements

Proven experience in a DevOps role
Knowledge of SRE principles and observability
Understanding of incident management processes
Background in Software Engineering, including some programming experience and familiarity with IDEs
Must be able to work onsite in either Plano, TX or Richmond, VA

Responsibilities

Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
Focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and system observability
Participate in an on-call rotation to support system readiness
Handle incident management and response (TOC)
