About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on solutions for clients’ digital transformation needs. The Devops Engineer designs, builds, deploys, and maintains cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code practices. The role supports scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions and horizontal cloud capabilities across AWS and Azure.

The position also develops and maintains enterprise CI/CD pipelines, applies security and compliance controls, and troubleshoots infrastructure, platform, and deployment issues across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments. It includes operational documentation, release management, and production support. The role calls for 5–8 years of experience and lists Azure DevOps Operations as a mandatory skill.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Advanced Terraform expertise, including module development and state management.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and operational best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Azure DevOps Operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Support and enhance horizontal cloud capabilities across AWS and Azure platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable Terraform modules and templates.
• Manage the infrastructure lifecycle through version-controlled deployment processes.
• Establish standards and best practices for infrastructure-as-code development and governance.
• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement automated validation, testing, security scanning, and deployment approval gates.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and deployment issues across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in release management and production support activities.
