Requirements

Three years minimum experience in Linux/Unix, scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform), cloud platforms (Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), version control (Git), GitLab build pipelines), networking, and database management.
Familiar with YAML, Java, Typescript, and node.js.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability to cross-functional teams.
Understanding agile, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.
B.S. in Computer Science, CIS or related fields.
High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between developers, QA, and operations to align goals and streamline workflows.
Provision and maintain servers, storage, networking, and cloud resources, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to reduce manual work.
Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.
Design processes for data collection, storage, and usage within systems.
Manage application builds, deployments, and rollbacks.
Set up logging, alerting, and performance monitoring tools. Primary tool will be Datadog, IBM Turbonomics, and Azure Monitoring.
