Requirements

  • 10-15 years of overall IT experience, including 5-7 years in DevOps roles
  • Demonstrated expertise with OpenShift cluster management and administration
  • Strong programming skills in Java, .NET, or Python
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, XL Release
  • Proficient in SQL for database support and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on Linux (RHEL) system administration and Shell/Bash scripting
  • Experience managing application deployments, software releases, and infrastructure components
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to cloud platforms and containerization beyond OpenShift
  • Experience leading Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and technology evaluations
  • Background in enterprise-scale automation and infrastructure as code

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters for highly available, secure application deployments
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, and XL Release
  • Build automation and deployment tools using Java, .NET, or Python
  • Execute complex SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and support
  • Administer and troubleshoot RHEL Linux environments with advanced Shell/Bash scripting
  • Oversee infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, and OS, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Manage source code repositories, deployments, patches, upgrades, and software releases following DevOps best practices
  • Monitor application and platform health, conduct capacity planning, and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Resolve production incidents efficiently to ensure service reliability
  • Collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams
  • Evaluate emerging technologies through Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and drive automation for increased efficiency
