About The Position

Development operations (DevOps) engineers are responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform. They also manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis, so strong communication skills are important in this position. They are generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful. DevOps engineers may work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and receptionists. Hours can be flexible, though they typically work during regular weekly business hours, and they are not usually responsible for customer/client interaction or supervising junior employees.

Requirements

  • Storage Administration experience with both SAN, NAS and Block & File Storage Protocols.
  • Working knowledge on virtualized (VNFs) and cloud-native (CNFs) core network functions on various platforms (e.g., KVM, VMware, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Compute architecture and application optimization experience.
  • Working experience with Network Protocols such as BGP, IGP and Firewalls.
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with vendors and internal teams for resolution.
  • Experience working with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, etc.
  • Experience working with Containerization services such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Working experience with public and private multicloud environments.
  • Experience working with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog and Splunk.
  • Working experience with yaml, json and xml.
  • Working knowledge with Cyber Security frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and system administration.
  • Work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis.
  • Support network trials and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
  • Provide expert-level support for operational issues, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including configuration guides, MOPs (Method of Procedure).
  • Assist in knowledge transfer and cross-team enablement.
