I2X Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance. As a DevOPS Cloud engineer Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell. Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects. Must be a detail oriented individual that is able to track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.

Requirements

5 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting.
Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
Scrum Master experience is a plus
