About The Position

Parsons is seeking a cleared DevOps Engineer to support diverse and challenging systems that continue to evolve with the technology landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for automating and supporting the continuous integration and delivery of software-built products for fielded computer systems. This is an opportunity to contribute to a vital mission in support of national security. The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This position works closely with development, operations, and partner teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure, automate processes, and improve system reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, Information Technology, or related discipline or advance degree
  • 5+ years of related experience in DevOps, software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused development
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Demonstrated software development experience using Python, Java, or similar programming languages
  • Experience with automated configuration management tools, including Ansible, Salt, Helm, or similar technologies
  • Experience with containerized deployment architectures, including Kubernetes
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed to support business objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience working within Agile development practices
  • Experience with build automation and source code management tools such as Gradle, Git, SVN, or equivalent
  • Experience with Artifact binary repository management (Nexus, Maven, Artifactory, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps framework to support build server automation and the integration of RMF scans such as ACAS and NESSUS into the software development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain customer and internal team documentation for DevOps processes
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting across supported environments
  • Provide technical support and training to project teams and customers
  • Support remote operations and travel up to 10% CONUS as needed
