About The Position

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Java development experience and a solid background in the Banking/Financial Services domain. This is a long-term contract position located in Atlanta, GA, requiring 5 days onsite. Local candidates only, no relocation assistance will be provided. Banking domain experience is mandatory.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong AWS experience: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting/automation: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring & logging: AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack.
• Strong production troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Banking domain experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for managing infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configure and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Apply Agile and DevOps practices.
