About The Position

Voyager Technologies is seeking a mid- to senior-level DevOps Engineer with an active Secret clearance to define and own the enterprise source control and release engineering strategy. The role enables development and engineering teams to build, test, and release software through standardized, secure, and auditable workflows. It leads consolidation of fragmented Git platforms and repository practices into a governed source control and automation foundation, and establishes CI/CD standards across the organization. The engineer administers enterprise Git platforms and owns shared platform services used by build and release pipelines, including container registry, object storage, and centralized secrets management. The role develops infrastructure as code and automation, integrates security and compliance practices into workflows, monitors platform health, documents standards and runbooks, and serves as a technical resource and escalation point across the organization. The position is fully remote, with occasional after-hours availability for maintenance, migrations, and incident response, and participation in sprint-based delivery against a defined platform roadmap.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 10–12 years of DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering experience.
  • Hands-on enterprise-scale administration experience with both GitLab and GitHub.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and environments.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus/Grafana or equivalents.
  • Strong communication across engineering, security, and leadership audiences.
  • Self-directed and comfortable owning enterprise-wide tooling and governance decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, with an approach that treats pipeline configurations and platform settings as production-grade, auditable artifacts.
  • Collaborative experience working across IT, security, and engineering teams.
  • Must meet the stated U.S. Person eligibility requirements for applicable U.S. government export regulations and be eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Nice To Haves
