About The Position

This role requires a DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of software development principles and experience in a collaborative environment. The engineer will be responsible for managing revision control systems, understanding the SDLC and Agile methodologies, and implementing solutions for source control, build automation, debugging, deployment, log management, monitoring, alerting, scripting, and software testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a collaborative software development environment.
• Strong understanding of revision control systems; hands-on Git experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/iterative methodologies.
• Experience with source control and build automation.
• Experience with debugging and deployment.
• Experience with log management and monitoring/alerting.
• Experience with scripting and software testing.
