About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop, manage, and secure container platforms that meet client needs and use cloud capabilities. The role involves developing container management software and supporting critical cloud platforms. As a senior platform DevOps Engineer, you will use cloud technologies and container software to improve client environments, ensure seamless orchestration, inform strategy and design, and maintain standards throughout the containerization process. You will also recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Experience maintaining Git-based change control for infrastructure and system configuration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, validation, testing, and release control.
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, or Terraform for building and maintaining systems, and Red Hat Linux Server Management.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud technologies.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
• Experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) infrastructure.
• Experience with applications and tools including Git, GitLab, Terraform, OpenTofu, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Red Hat Certified Engineer certification.
