About The Position

We have the following urgent role with our DIRECT client. This is a Devops Engineer position with a focus on Ansible and Azure. The role is located in Sunnyvale, CA, and is for a duration of 6+ months. The rate is market-based (DOE).

Requirements

• Very strong knowledge of Ansible for application configuration
• Strong infrastructure automation experience
• Good hands-on experience with Docker, K8
• Public cloud experience, preferably AZURE, GCP
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT branching strategy
• Knowledge or at least familiarity with Linux shell, system internals, network, java applications and MySQL databases
• Love for debugging: troubleshooting and debugging monitoring alerts and internet connectivity issues
• Ability to read and understand server/systems logs and produce meaningful issue analyses
• Good analytics, troubleshooting skills and intuition about probable root cause

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Splunk
• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with Apache
• Familiarity with rsync
• Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools like Nagios, PagerDuty, OpsGenie
