DevOps Engineer (22711)

About The Position

RenXTech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Buchanan & Edwards, is seeking a technical resource to work in a quick-paced, dynamic, agile software development environment. The multi-disciplinary project team works together on multiple projects that include automating processing of large forensic images, extracting and enriching metadata, and displaying resulting information in meaningful ways for analysts to conduct assessments. Team members utilize a mix of COTS and GOTS tools and technologies, as well as build integrations with a variety of external partner applications. Most solutions are cloud-based.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience deploying and managing data platform components: Apache Spark, Trino, Apache Ranger, Apache Iceberg, Apache Superset, or data catalogs.
  • Demonstrated experience with data lakehouse architectures and supporting infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience with secrets management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store.
  • Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery, backup strategies, and continuity planning.
  • Demonstrated experience or familiarity with API gateways and modern microservices patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost optimization practices in AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience or background deploying and supporting AI/ML workloads or model serving infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring team members on DevOps and cloud best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with additional monitoring tools such as Grafana or ELK stack.
  • Demonstrating experience integrating Sponsor’s Enterprise services.
  • Demonstrated experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
