About The Position

As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop container management software to solve tough client challenges, hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies, and improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. You will support your team by informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for clients to manage and securely adopt containers. You will also strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience deploying cloud resources on AWS
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments on Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments
  • Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
  • Knowledge of container security technologies, and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 4+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP, or GSEC Certification within 4 months of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes deployment orchestration tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
  • Experience developing in Java or Python
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or Elasticsearch, Kibana, and FluentD
  • Experience with the design, deployment, and management of cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
  • Experience using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
  • Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
  • Kubernetes Certification
