About The Position

As a lead platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You’ll guide your team as they use the latest cloud technologies to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform expertise, you’ll lead your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • 8+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues with CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers
  • Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative team environment
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in DevOps, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience in DevOps

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
  • Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
  • Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
  • Master’s degree

  • Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.
  • Develop container management software to solve client challenges.
  • Guide a team in using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration.
  • Inform strategy and design using DevOps platform expertise, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
  • Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.
