DevOps Engineer I
About The Position
Vertafore’s DevOps teams work closely with the software engineering organization, using its culture, tools, practices, and patterns. The teams maintain systems and networks while enabling development teams with tools and capabilities to bring products to market quickly. The organization emphasizes the development side of DevOps practices while maintaining quality operational delivery for customers and development teams. The DevOps Engineer I supports large-scale web applications in a cloud environment, builds automation practices to improve infrastructure and deployments, and helps upgrade DevOps infrastructure for existing products and greenfield development. The role also coordinates with software development teams, assists managers with project requirements and design, and collaborates with peer organizations to deliver software applications.

Responsibilities
- Support large-scale web applications in a cloud environment.
- Develop automation practices to improve efficiencies in infrastructure, DevOps, and application deployments.
- Support upgrades to DevOps infrastructure for existing products and greenfield development.
- Coordinate with software development teams to develop and implement software applications.
- Assist managers in analyzing project requirements and project design.
