Requirements

• Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
• Multiple experience levels considered, based on overall background and technical depth
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience supporting DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering efforts in Linux-based environments
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Strong Linux administration skills, including patching, hardening, and compliance maintenance
• Hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker Compose
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Familiarity operating systems and services in AWS
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Athena, and Step Functions
• Understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPCs, NAT gateways, and routing
• Experience building and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Kubernetes experience with EKS, ECS, and or Fargate
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and improving system availability

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining a highly available platform that orchestrates microservices for a modern operational system
• Developing Infrastructure as Code and automation to provision services and eliminate manual tasks
• Patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
• Installing, configuring, and tuning platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics tools
• Managing CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows using GitLab runners and Argo CD
• Operating and maintaining workloads in commercial cloud environments, primarily AWS
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and driving improvements to system reliability and uptime
• Collaborating closely with software engineers, stakeholders, and mission partners to deliver stable, secure solutions
