DevOps Content Engineer (LATAM)

The Global Talent Co.
Remote

About The Position

We are building the agentic OS for DevOps, a platform where AI agents make cloud environments self-building, self-governing, self-healing, and self-optimizing. This role is for someone who has spent years in the trenches of provisioning infrastructure, responding to incidents, and optimizing pipelines, and has also developed a passion for writing about these experiences. The platform spans three areas: AI SRE (AI agents for incident detection, diagnosis, and remediation), Infrastructure & Platform Engineering (AI-powered automation with Terraform for natural language infrastructure provisioning), and Managed Open Source Observability (full-stack visibility without proprietary costs). The ideal candidate understands this world from the inside and can effectively communicate its value to engineers.

Requirements

  • Strong software development background with real coding experience (Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code, especially Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern workflows.
  • Familiarity with SRE practices, incident response, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, documentation, talks) with a portfolio to showcase.
  • 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or a closely related technical role.
  • 1–2 years creating technical content, in developer relations, or in a role where communication was a key part of the job.
  • A portfolio (GitHub, blog, YouTube, conference talks) demonstrating both technical and communication skills.
