DevOps/Cloud Engineer - USA Remote
About The Position
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer who thrives on creative problem-solving, takes initiative, and enjoys the process of software development and maintenance. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including GCP, Cloud Functions, web development, Javascript, React, HTML, CSS, PHP, and GO. Collaboration with fellow engineers and developers across various infrastructure layers is a key aspect of this role, necessitating a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, thoughtful design, and the creation of high-quality products.
Requirements
- 6–9+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / SRE
- Hybrid role - requires 3 days in the office
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platform)
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and distributed systems
- Experience managing production-grade systems
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining custom software solutions
- Working with different technologies, including GCP, AWS (primarily Cloud Functions) and web development
- Designing, coding, implementing, and testing applications
- Creating documentation and ensuring the security and integrity of software applications
- Automating business processes through custom code
- Daily code pushes
