About The Position

This internship focuses on assisting senior engineers in the sustaining, analysis, and improvement of semiconductor products and solutions. Interns will monitor electrical device operation to ensure quality standards and engineering specifications are met. The role involves troubleshooting complex process, quality, and yield problems, designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and participating in technical reviews. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and learning industry-standard tools and methodologies are key aspects of this position. Interns will also prepare technical reports and presentations, and perform other duties as assigned to support engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine interest in semiconductors, electronics, or embedded systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
  • Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term. If graduating prior to July 2027, apply to Entry Level full-time roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of Analog, Logic, Power, and/or NVM devices is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of device physics and semiconductor operation is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of statistical process control and usage of statistics analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc) is preferred.
