About The Position

AlwaysNear Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable professionals to provide structured, non-medical in-home support for children ages 3–8 who are waiting for ABA services, school placement, or other developmental programs.

Requirements

• Experience with children
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Reliable transportation
• Background check required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• CNA, PCA, RBT, Paraprofessional, Teacher, Childcare Professional, Special Education Assistant, Behavioral Technician, or related experience welcomed
• Former daycare teachers
• Preschool teachers
• Special education paraprofessionals
• ABA technicians (RBTs)
• Childcare providers
• Early childhood educators
• Pediatric CNAs
• Pediatric PCAs
• College students studying education, psychology, social work, speech pathology, occupational therapy, or nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the child’s home
• Follow a structured daily routine
• Facilitate educational and play-based activities
• Support sensory activities
• Encourage communication and social interaction
• Assist with meals and snacks
• Assist with toileting (when appropriate)
• Complete daily progress notes
• Communicate with families and supervisors
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment
