The Developmental Men's Basketball Coach program is designed to provide aspiring coaches with comprehensive, hands-on experience in a Division I Men's Basketball environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the coaching staff with the planning, organization, and implementation of individual and team development activities.
• Participate in on-court instruction, skill development, position-specific work, and team concepts as directed by the coaching staff.
• Assist with practice preparation, including drills, equipment, player assignments, practice plans, and facility setup.
• Observe practices, workouts, games, and team activities to develop an understanding of Division I coaching methodology.
• Provide feedback and observations to the coaching staff regarding player development, team execution, and areas of improvement.
