About The Position

As a Development Tools Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and enabling Intel's engineering partners to design and manufacture cutting-edge silicon products and systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience months of experience or a master’s degree in computer science or software engineering or computer engineering or related STEM discipline. Applicant must have the required degree by July 2026.
  • 6+ months of experience with the following technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with software debug techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of software test methodologies and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, validate, and optimize software tools and algorithms that support design, manufacturing, validation, and silicon production.
  • Utilize modern software development methodologies, object-oriented programming, and secure coding practices to create robust and reliable tools.
  • Develop and maintain systems such as debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, performance monitors, and libraries.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering partners to provide tools that enable impactful product integration and manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and solve complex problems related to software tools and systems to enhance functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Contribute to software architecture input and feedback to ensure alignment with Intel's technological goals and values.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality and testing methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
