About The Position

LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is forging an American energy future with integrity, innovation, and positive impact. Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity. Job Summary The Development Program Manager (P3) is a key member of the team providing critical support for our growing organization in a fast-paced environment. The Development Program Manager will focus on supporting the development team’s creation and maintenance of project plans, core data, budgets, schedules, and process optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (engineering or business concentration desirable)
Minimum 4-6 years of experience with expertise across renewable technologies and markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management skills with a highly organized approach.
Fluent with Microsoft suite of products and able to effectively navigate Primavera P6, Smartsheet, and other similar software.
Applicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GIS, SharePoint, PowerBI and Power Automate desired.
Familiarity with CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the development and integrity of Project Development Plans, ensuring all activities and milestones are logically linked.
Support the development team in creation, implementation, and maintenance of detailed project budgets and forecasts with consistent format and logic.
Project and development enterprise risk identification, documentation, analysis, and tracking.
Collaborate with and lead cross functional teams, including legal, commercial, engineering, project execution, government affairs, and finance in refining business processes.
Provide actionable insights based on current plans & procedures and recommend key risk controls, and stage gate refinements.
Support the development team by ensuring proper maintenance and integrity of project and portfolio visualization.
Ensure all reporting requirements are met on a timely basis.
Monitor capital efficiency metrics (cost per MW to NTP, time-to-NTP, capital at risk per stage).
Evaluate and recommend software solutions to improve reporting efficiency and cross-functional coordination & visibility.
Identify best in class processes & procedures being utilized by other infrastructure development organizations and make improvement recommendations to leadership accordingly.
Facilitate project and departmental benchmarking via competitive intelligence gathering from sources such as consultants, advisors, and trusted industry reports.
Support M&A integration efforts for acquired development assets.
Act as a senior representative in external meetings and interface with executive team, sponsor, and project investors.
