About The Position

Provides support in the identification and management of active and prospective donors. Works to build and reinforce a “culture of philanthropy” throughout the organization. Will be working on the Children's Miracle Network program which through POS, cause marketing, and events raises funds for Cohen Children's Medical Center.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, required.

Nice To Haves

• Fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with major gift officer to strategize and support cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects and build pipeline.
• Works in conjunction with Foundation team to identify and implement strategies for prospective and current donors.
• Participates in stewardship and fundraising events.
• Attends all committee and Foundation Board meetings.
• Serves as back-up for gift recording and processes including acknowledgements and running reports in the donor system.
• Cultivates and maintains seamless relationship management for donors, prospects, major gift officer and Executive Director.
• Operates under general guidance and work assignments that are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.
