Work Location & Hours : Kirk / 8am-4:30pm M-F Qualifications for Position: Previous work experience in the development office is strongly preferred - either at Covenant or a similar organization Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, and a high level of organization. Expected Duties and Responsibilities: Partners Campaign Schedule meetings Communicate with committee members if and when appropriate Research student stories for the campaign newsletter as needed Maintain WS2020 Pull campaign next steps report for MGOs Help prep for Phase 2 campaign visits Development Office Add notes to Slate for MGOs Assist with custom stewardship gifts Learn how to run reports from Slate for MGOs Other projects, including mailings and others, will be done as needed. Assist the operations team on an as-needed basis. Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed Career & Self-Development including donor relations, collaborating across various groups on and off campus, minute taking, attending board and donor meetings, etc. Communication in the form of written, verbal, and other forms of communication through digital methods. Critical Thinking in the form of analysis of data, reviewing of materials, etc. Global Literacy displayed by interacting with multiple constituencies of the college. Leadership through planning and execution of tasks related to the development office and capital campaign. Professionalism by interacting with external and internal constituencies on behalf of the development office and the college as a whole. Teamwork including collaboration with the development team members and other departments on campus to accomplish a shared task.
