This role involves applying development expertise to front and back-end systems coding, combined with project management and systems administration skills. The Development Manager designs the strategy for continuous enhancement, performance optimization, stability, and scalability. They will design, develop, and maintain fully-fledged platforms with databases or servers, and design the user experience, user interaction, responsive design, and complete architecture. The role requires working with databases, servers, APIs, version control systems, and third-party applications, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and fixing issues during test and production phases. The Development Manager builds dynamic, visually-attractive, and innovative software products/applications, managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment, and maintaining and upgrading software post-deployment. They will oversee and guide the analysis, building, and deployment of software, as well as automated testing and provide insights on results. Additionally, this role involves modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.
