The Development Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of Giving Kitchen’s signature and headquarter events. This role involves working closely with the Director of Development Events to ensure smooth and successful events, including Team Hidi (annual tasting event), an annual seated dinner event, events sold as live auction items, and several smaller GK donor and cultivation events. The coordinator will manage logistics, communications, and administrative tasks to support event goals, engage attendees, and contribute to the overall success of the organization’s mission. This role is well-suited for someone building a career in nonprofit fundraising and event management, as they will learn and support all aspects of nonprofit event fundraising. The Development Events Coordinator reports to the Director of Development Events and works with and supports other Development team members. While this role sits within the Development team, the Development Events Coordinator works closely with the Community Engagement team to support event logistics, ticketing, and RSVP coordination for third-party and signature events beyond Atlanta — making cross-functional collaboration a regular and meaningful part of this role. This position works from the Atlanta headquarters with opportunity for a hybrid work model.
