SAGE is the world’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in New York City, SAGE is a national organization that offers supportive services and consumer resources for LGBTQ+ older adults and their caregivers, advocates for public policy changes that address the needs of LGBTQ+ older people and provides cultural competency training for aging providers and LGBTQ+ organizations. This position will report to the Director of Philanthropy to manage SAGE’s regional fundraising and engagement events as well as support SAGE’s major gift fundraising operations in various capacities. This role will manage and lead success of our SAGE and Friends event series as well as partner with SAGE’s Board of Directors to ensure that they have the necessary tools for their fundraising efforts. This role will also manage a portfolio of ‘mid-level’ ($1,500 - $4,999) donors. Finally, The Development Engagement Manager will also be responsible for coordinating external communications and portfolio management on behalf of the Chief Development and Communications Officer.
