About The Position

The Development Associate, Graphic Design facilitates the articulation of Trustmark’s brand through the design and structure of graphical elements. Work may include internal and external collateral materials, print advertising, user interfaces, merchandising, and electronic and digital media. The role is a full-time position located at Trustmark’s Corporate Office in Jackson, Mississippi, and must start June 7, 2027.

Requirements

• Have completed coursework and be actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Have intermediate experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Have a strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
• Be able to revise designs based on constructive critique.
• Be able to communicate design choices clearly.
• Be able to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
• Be able to take creative direction and apply it.
• Provide a compelling portfolio showcasing design work.
• Be able to sit or stand for long periods and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screens.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic designs and concepts for internal and external collateral materials, statement stuffers, direct mail, print, merchandising, newsletters, user interfaces, electronic and digital media, and other design needs suitable for internal production.
• Follow Trustmark’s Brand Guidelines to align work with and communicate the company’s brand.
• Edit and coordinate the Trustmark production process with internal or external vendors as needed to ensure brand consistency.
• Support other communications and marketing projects as needed for department or company needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
