About The Position

The Development Officer works closely with the Camp Director to ensure that Tonto Rim Christian Camp can successfully help people “see, know, and experience God” for generations to come by implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

Requirements

• Vibrant and deepening faith in Jesus Christ with godly character and integrity
• Organized and systematic detail management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Relationship and service-oriented
• Associate’s degree or equivalent of related professional experience
• Full agreement with TMC and TRCC mission, vision, values, doctrinal statement and handbook

Responsibilities

• Oversee the process for developing “ministry partners” who learn about, pray for, serve, give to, and share the mission of Thousand Pines.
• Requests corporate and government funds through solicitation and grant writing.
• Work closely with the Camp Director to identify major gift opportunities and keep major donors engaged through research and brief writing.
• Coordinates with the Communications/Marketing team specifically on the development of materials highlighting programs for fundraising purposes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
