About The Position

Senior Housing Partners (the project development company of Presbyterian Homes & Services) is seeking a Development Analyst to join their team. The Development Analyst supports the planning and execution of senior housing development and acquisition projects by providing analytical, administrative, and project coordination support to the Director of Development and Senior Housing Partners leadership. This role contributes to informed decision-making, efficient project execution, and responsible growth of the development pipeline. This is an in-person (Monday-Friday) position in Roseville, MN. As an entry-level position, the Development Analyst gains hands-on exposure to real estate development fundamentals while helping advance projects that create safe, affordable, and impactful housing solutions for older adults.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, urban planning, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in real estate development, finance, construction, or a related field preferred but required; training provided.
  • Interest in real estate development and a desire to learn the fundamentals of senior housing development.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Ability to travel 20% to project sites, meetings with partners, and other development-related activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination and administrative support to the Senior Housing Partners Leadership Team, Development Managers, and Acquisitions Manager across all phases of development and acquisition projects.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to proactively identify, research, and track on-market and off-market land and acquisition opportunities, maintaining an up-to-date development pipeline.
  • Conduct market research, site analysis, and feasibility assessments to support site selection and acquisition decisions.
  • Collaborate with Development Managers and the Acquisitions Manager to support project underwriting, including developing preliminary pro forma financial models and valuation analyses.
