About The Position
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models. The individual will define concepts, attributes, relationships, and hierarchies within a domain, and develop/manage knowledge graphs and metadata frameworks. Collaboration with subject matter experts is key to capturing domain knowledge, and support will be provided for data integration, interoperability initiatives, and mapping between industry standards and internal data models. The role also involves ensuring consistency and governance of ontology structures, documenting models and standards, and supporting AI, machine learning, and natural language processing applications. Ontology validation, quality assurance, and maintenance are also core responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models.
- Ability to define concepts, attributes, relationships, and hierarchies within a domain.
- Experience in developing and managing knowledge graphs and metadata frameworks.
- Skills in collaborating with subject matter experts to capture domain knowledge.
- Experience supporting data integration and interoperability initiatives.
- Ability to create mappings between industry standards and internal data models.
- Knowledge of ensuring consistency and governance of ontology structures.
- Experience in documenting ontology models, standards, and business rules.
