About The Position

Under direction, performs a wide range of application development related duties including analysis, design, evaluation, development, coding, testing and maintenance of complex application systems.

Requirements

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Three (3) years of full-time experience performing coding, testing, and debugging application programs obtained within the last three (3) years.
Help desk experience required
Experience in managing systems administration operations required

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience preferred.
Multi-facility support desired
Experience in firewall management
Technical certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions as part of migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
Develop and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data architectures (e.g., layered/medallion approaches) to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery during and after migration.
Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and security in a cloud environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system migration, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot production issues.
Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
Design and develop SSIS / SQL ETL solutions that consume data from numerous upstream systems for data transformation and processing.
Design, implement, and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and database security.
Proficient with ETL tools, expert in industry standard best practices on Microsoft SSIS and SSMS (2016 or higher)
Analyze and develop strategies to import and transfer data between source, staging, and Development/Production Warehouse destinations.
Troubleshoot and correct ETL warnings and errors and resolve critical issues promptly.
Provides analytical and technical expertise on performance tuning, index optimization, and query optimization.
Stays informed of new developments and technologies by reading journals and other pertinent publications, maintaining contact with vendors, and participating in professional organizations, meetings, and seminars.
Work closely with MED IT to assist in patch update reboot, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
