About The Position

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team. The role involves analyzing and solving issues in existing and new code, demonstrating full responsibility for accepted tasks with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Collaboration with other team members is crucial for team success. The Developer is expected to enhance skills beyond their core functional focus and contribute to other tasks for the team's benefit. Proficient overall product knowledge and sharing domain expertise within the team are also key expectations. If acting as a Scrum Master in the LEAN context, the role includes promoting and supporting Scrum, facilitating Scrum Events, coaching the Development Team in self-organization, and removing impediments to progress.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Three (3) years of experience involving JavaScript.
Three (3) years of experience involving Java.
Three (3) years of experience involving HTML, CSS3, JSON, and XML.
Three (3) years of experience involving Node and Node.js.
Three (3) years of experience involving Git or other Source Code Management.
Three (3) years of experience involving Rest API.
Three (3) years of experience involving Fiori.
Three (3) years of experience involving SAPUI5 including SAP JavaScript UI framework.
Three (3) years of experience involving Scrum (agile project management).
Three (3) years of experience involving State management UI framework, including ngrx, rxjs, and ngxs.

Responsibilities

Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.
Demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.
Work closely with other team members to ensure the team’s success.
Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
Have proficient overall product knowledge and share domain expertise within team.
If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, will be responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required.
Coach the Development Team in self-organization.
Remove impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
