About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking 5 highly motivated Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 candidates to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves the development and enhancement of applications supporting Texas school districts, requiring collaboration with multiple agency stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficacy. All work products will be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client. Candidates may be subject to pre-selection requirements, including criminal background checks.

Requirements

• 8 Years Required: Software Development Life Cycle.
• 8 Years Required: Entity Framework.
• 8 Years Required: Oracle (PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Management, Performance Tuning).
• 8 Years Required: Strong understanding of data modeling.
• 8 Years Required: Design Principles.
• 6 Years Required: Blazor Server, Blazor WSM.
• 6 Years Required: Fluent UI.
• 5 Years Required: Bitbucket for version control.
• 5 Years Required: Nomad and Consul.
• 2 Years Required: .NET 8.0/9.0 framework, C#, Visual Studio.
• Minimum 8 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• 5 Years Preferred: Familiarity with Project-Specific Tools such as JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence etc.
• 5 Years Preferred: SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• 3 Years Preferred: Prior Texas State Agency Experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and other modern Microsoft technologies.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
• Analyze and enhance existing complex reports built with Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
• Develop scalable and high-performance financial system solutions, ensuring seamless database integration using Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the DevOps team, to maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Provide innovative solutions to modernize and streamline the existing legacy project, ensuring alignment with business goals.
