About The Position

The Specialist, Developer Personalization plays a pivotal role, leveraging expertise to identify and deliver comprehensive marketing solutions. This role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end personalization strategies, utilizing tools like Adobe Target to enhance site and app customer experiences. The Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional project teams and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of solutions aligned with Macy’s Digital objectives. They take ownership of the final technical product, ensuring it meets business goals and fulfills the overall vision. Additionally, the Specialist employs a range of software technologies, including developing new code, modifying existing code, configuring systems, and implementing packaged solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL: Window functions, ETL processes, and database optimization.
  • MarTech: Experience in Point to Point integration with Adobe, Google ecosystems. Other CRM systems like Salesforce /HubSpot is ok.
  • AdTech: Familiarity with SSPs, DSPs, or Google Ad Manager API.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture: Design and maintain SQL-based data models that aggregate fragmented data from Ad Servers (e.g., GAM), Adobe (RTCDP), Google Big Query and payment gateways.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the technical configuration of Sales Ops workflows, ensuring lead routing and attribution logic are airtight.
  • AdTech Integration: Manage the "plumbing" between our product and our ad-buying/selling platforms, ensuring tracking pixels and API integrations are firing correctly.
  • Strategic Reporting: Build automated dashboards that translate raw backend data into actionable revenue insights for the executive team.
