About The Position

MIO Partners Inc. (MIO) is a global investment and advisory institution managing over $20 billion in assets. The Portfolio Analytics Group is seeking a Developer to own, evolve, and expand systems for ingesting and quality controlling manager data. This role involves working with data analysts, technologists, investors, and partner teams to build robust data solutions, define tools, standards, and best practices, and shape the vision for data and attribution problem-solving. The successful candidate will be a leader in this space, driving efficiency and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of experience engineering data solutions to business
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Proficient in data management principles and best practices
• Practical understanding of system and workflow design
• Experience with agentic coding (eg. Claude Code, Cursor) and using AI for task automation
• Experience with investment management data and reporting
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong client relationship management skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills to interact at all levels

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve manager data ingestion, cleaning, and validation systems
• Own and evolve data engineering standards for the Data and Reporting Team
• Drive efficiency on the team through platform improvements, new technology adoption and team training
• Improve the efficiency and clarity of the performance attribution systems
