About The Position

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Developer III - C# / .NET for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will serve as a hands-on C#/.NET developer responsible for building, enhancing, integrating, and supporting enterprise applications and automation solutions. The role will work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions while supporting applications throughout the full development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an accepted combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development, systems testing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong professional experience with C# and .NET development.
  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database objects, queries, and data-related development.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Demonstrated full-stack development experience with exposure to both application logic and user-facing web technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting production applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • PowerShell scripting and Windows-based automation.
  • ServiceNow development, administration, integrations, or workflow automation.
  • REST API development and system integration.
  • GitHub and source-control practices.
  • Windows Server or enterprise infrastructure experience.
  • Experience with IT operations, workflow automation, incident/change processes, or production support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and automation solutions.
  • Build and enhance ASP.NET applications, C#/.NET services, database solutions, and system integrations.
  • Develop APIs and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency and integrate enterprise platforms.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and coordinate application enhancements and releases.
  • Create technical specifications, test plans, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and other materials supporting the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, operations teams, project stakeholders, compliance personnel, and business partners to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
