About The Position
Assists clients through detoxification and the first stages of recovery from alcohol/chemical addictions.
Requirements
- One (1) year with an addictions recovery program in a cross cultural setting
- Addictions Counselling diploma
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Basic - Computer skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with culturally sensitive issues
- Ability to communicate in a First Nations language, where required by the job
