About The Position
We are seeking compassionate, energetic, non-judgmental professionals with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference to join our Lynnwood Detox team. Shifts are 12 hours.
Requirements
- A compassionate understanding of chemical dependence as a disease
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction
- Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment health screening drug test
Nice To Haves
- Preference to persons in recovery from chemical dependency
- Washington State Department of Health Certified Nursing Assistant a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient care procedures which may include measuring patient vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature)
- Manage the non-nursing portion of the patient admission
- Obtain admission urine tests and perform TB screening/testing per unit policy
- Orient patient to the unit and rooming patient
- Inform nursing staff of patient reports of medication effectiveness
