Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalent
At least four years of experience as a Senior Detailer
General supervisory skills or supervisory training
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities
Effective verbal and communication skills
Critical thinking skills
The ability to creatively motivate detailers

Responsibilities

Must adhere to Nucor’s safety programs and standards.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor’s vision and values.
Supervise detailers, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways to correct deficiencies.
Responsible for continually reassessing detailing techniques and recommending integrated, cost-effective solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of recommended actions.
Track employee’s progress on assigned work.
Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments as needed for assigned detailing personnel.
Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
