About The Position

This role involves inspecting products to ensure optional equipment changes align with customer specifications. The Detailer is responsible for cleaning building panels and electrical components, gathering necessary supplies and tools, and completing work according to a specified schedule. Daily tasks include detailed completion of traveler documents, cleaning the work area, and returning tools and supplies. The position also requires assisting Electricians with dehumidifier hookups, performing minor repairs and paint touch-ups, and preparing buildings for shipment by shrink wrapping them. A strong emphasis is placed on working safely and performing additional duties as requested.

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure.
• Ability to work in cooperation with other team members.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, work on knees for extended periods of time, work on ladders at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.

Nice To Haves

• Detail oriented.
• Prior industrial painting experience, auto painting may be suitable exp.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to verify that optional equipment changes have been made according to customer specifications.
• Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components.
• Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
• Complete work according to specified schedule and complete traveler documents in detail.
• Clean up work area and return tools and supplies to appropriate places each day.
• Assist Electricians to hook up dehumidifiers.
• Perform minor repairs and paint touch-ups.
• Shrink wrap buildings and get them ready to ship.
• Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
