About The Position

Wayne Akers Ford is hiring a Collision Center Detailer to help ensure vehicles meet dealership quality standards before customer delivery. The role involves thorough interior and exterior cleaning, checking vehicles for cleanliness and presentation, and helping organize the Collision Center. The Detailer supports customer satisfaction by delivering vehicles in exceptional condition while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Pre-employment drug testing is required as part of the Florida Drug-Free Workplace program.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and at least three years of licensed driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, polish, wax, and detail repaired vehicles before customer delivery.
• Vacuum, shampoo, clean, and deodorize vehicle interiors.
• Inspect completed repairs for cleanliness, fit and finish, and overall presentation before vehicles are released to customers.
• Notify management of concerns or deficiencies found during final quality-control inspections.
• Move vehicles safely throughout the Collision Center, dealership lot, and designated storage areas.
• Assist management with organizing vehicle flow and maintaining an orderly Body Shop.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the detail area, shop, and surrounding workspaces.
• Operate detailing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailing supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
• Follow dealership repair, detailing, and quality-control procedures.
• Comply with dealership safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
