About The Position

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a Body Shop Detailer / Porter to join their collision center team. This role is crucial for maintaining vehicle cleanliness, assisting with vehicle movement, supporting daily shop operations, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Interest in learning the collision repair business is a plus
• Previous detailing, porter, or body shop experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, buff, and detail customer vehicles
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum, scrub, and clean vehicle interiors
• Clean engine compartments when needed
• Apply dressing to tires and tire wells
• Use approved cleaners and detailing products to ensure vehicles are properly cleaned
• Move vehicles safely around the body shop, parking areas, and dealership property
• Assist with parking, staging, and organizing vehicles for repair, delivery, and pickup
• Help maintain cleanliness of the body shop, detail area, and surrounding work areas
• Sweep, clean, and organize shop areas as needed
• Remove trash, discarded parts, and debris from work areas
• Assist technicians, estimators, and management with basic porter duties as needed
• Learn basic body shop processes, repair flow, and vehicle delivery standards
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Report any safety concerns or vehicle damage immediately to management
