About The Position

Responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used cars. This role involves cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, including waxing, buffing, vacuuming upholstery, and cleaning and painting engines. The Detailer will also apply touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces and maintain a clean and safe work area. The position requires adherence to company standards for Customer Satisfaction (CSI), accurate timekeeping, and compliance with all safety rules and regulations. The role also emphasizes demonstrating the company's core values and following established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to operate equipment to perform detailing functions.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations.

  • Previous detailing experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles.
  • Waxes and buffs exterior of vehicles.
  • Vacuums and cleans vehicle upholstery.

  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
