About The Position

The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATV’s in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The Detailer washes, cleans, waxes, vacuums, etc. interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display, and service customer units. Using a forklift or tractor, the Detailer participates in the unloading of incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs, then transports them to various areas within the dealership, such as the storage lot, outside display, showroom floor, or customer delivery area. The Detailer confirms the packing list or invoice of all boat loads or other product deliveries. They transport and stage customer boats and ATVs to service, rigging, and storage yards by moving units from one location to another as necessary. The Detailer maintains an updated list of cleaning supplies and informs the Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items. They assist the Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes and inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs. The Detailer also performs grounds and facility maintenance as required and keeps their work area neat and clean. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.
  • Successful completion of DOT physical may be required
  • Ability to complete simple math calculation.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and fellow outfitters

Responsibilities
